You get what you pay for, indeed!

Pros:
-The machine is very quiet. It gurgles from time to time but is hardly noticeable.
-No filters are needed, thereby saving money and reducing the chance for mold to grow.
-LED nightlight is neither dull or too bright. The change is crisp and ambient without being abrasive.
-The ability to run the humidifier independent of the LED lights.
-After running for 2 days straight there is still absolutely NO dampness on or around the machine from the mist.
-Cool mist makes it safe for children. There is no possibility of being burned.
-Cool mist is also beneficial in the hot weather since it lowers the surrounding temperature.
-The size of it is compact and fits almost anywhere without looking unattractive.
-Top swivels 360 degrees. You don’t have to change the position of the machine to change mist direction.
-Able to clearly see the water line.

Cons:
-The necessity of purchasing distilled water. When used with tap water a white “dust” accumulates on the surrounding surface. Gallon jugs of water are under a dollar, but it adds up.
-The tank and base do not lock together, however there are two blue dots that must match up on the outside for it to run. This is fine if you don’t plan on having to move it around, but without a locking mechanism they come apart with little effort and enable spilling if not held upright and together. I mention this since kids will naturally want to touch and explore the machine. The water in the tank can not come out without the plunger being pushed down or the cap being off but there is a pool in the bottom half of the machine that can spill.

Overall this is a great product. I’m so glad I don’t have to deal with filters or leaking tanks any more.

Good Humidifier

I bought this humidifier after looking at quite a few at local stores. Most of them were ugly and the decent looking ones were quite expensive. Obviously aesthetics were not my only concern, but it is nice to have something on my bedside table that looks pleasant. It is fairly quiet and puts out a good amount of mist. Cleaning is simple, however it does drip when taking off the top section which is slightly annoying. I really enjoy the LED night light feature. The only improvement I would make is to have an automatic shut-off after reaching a specific humidity. In addition, I use filtered Brita water and have yet to have a problem with white dust.

Good sunscreen, bad bottle??

I like this sunscreen and it did a good job of protecting my one and two year old out on the lake this summer. My only complaint is that the bottle seemed to get clogged a lot and would lose it’s nice broad spray. It was an easy fix but I’m thinking I just got a bum applicator on this one. Would definitely try it again.

Best teether by far!

My daughter started teething at 3 months and we had great difficulty finding a teether that she liked. After trying the ring and the hand, we fell upon the teething blanket. BEST EVER! It’s soft and fuzzy and silky/satiny with 2 chewy corners. She loves grabbing the blankie and chewing on the ends. IT ROCKS!!

My son’s most favorite teether!

This is the best teether by far! My son got it when he was about 4 months old, and has loved it from day one! He’s 19 months old now, and still loves to chew on it and play with it. He has always preferred this teether over any of his others, and my favorite thing about it is that it goes in the washer and dryer just like any of his other blankets! We love it so much, it’s on my baby registry for our next baby! Highly recommended!!

excellent product

This product goes on “white” but clears as you rub it in. Very very gentle for kids and adults with sensitive skin. Definitely prevents the stinging eyes problem if used as directed. My little one can rub it on her face herself and prefers it to any spray on.

Easy For Baby *and* Me

This is a nice small size so I can stick a Sophie in my purse. It’s also a lot easier for my 4-month-old to grip and hold on to. He is wanting to stick everything in his mouth but can’t really navigate the full-sized Sophie as well yet, although he loves that one, too. As the previous reviewer noted, the non-squeaking is good because of the dog. Also good for a dog-owner: the rubber doesn’t attract dog hair the way the silicone teething rings do. Good addition to the Vulli Sophie line.

better than the original sophie

my 5 month old loves this sophie. it’s small and light and very easy for him to hold and chew. i’ve gotten him other teethers but this is the only one he likes. this is great for younger babies and their tiny hands and mouths. other teethers, especially the round ones, don’t fit in my LO’s mouth very comfortably but this little sophie fits perfectly in my LO’s mouth. it’s a little pricey but i’d rather have one good teether that my son loves rather than a bunch of less expensive ones that he doesn’t use.

This was not the vanilla Sophie!

I have the original Sophie and my son loves it so I decided to get him this one to see if he liked the scent/flavor. Well, I was highly disappointed that the one I received was neither scented or flavored. Nonetheless, my son loves this one just as much. It’s actually easier for him to handle and since it is more firm than the original Sophie I think it helps him when he really want to gnaw on something! I attach it to one of those pacifier clips so that it is always with him. An added bonus is that it doesn’t squeak! Even though it’s not scented/flavored it’s still a big hit!

The Mini Moto is a little scale reproduction of the World Super Bikes applied by the likes of Valentino Rossi and ex champion Carl Fogarty. The Mini Moto comes equipped with either a two stroke air or water cooled engine which are, depending on the model, competent of speeds of up to 60Mph.

In this article I will underline the finer points of the constituents that make these speeds possible.

The two Stroke Engine

The two stroke engine gives rise to more hp per pound than the four stroke engine. The two stroke engine comprises of three moving parts, the piston, the rod and the crank. We commend that you use normal petrol for a garage and a quality two stroke oil.

A mixture that is too lean I.e not sufficient two stroke oil may harm your mini moto’s engine as the moving elements are not decently lubricated. This may cause the engine to seize. However a mixture that is too rich may choke the engine and effect the performance and cause starting problems. You may tell if your mini moto is running too richly by the plumes of white smoke coming out of the exhaust and the lack of performance. A rich mixture (25:1) is necessitated to lubricate the engine for the duration of the ‘run in’ period, you may experience a lack of performance for the duration of this period. The pocket bike may run more tardily and acceleration may be sluggish, nevertheless when you change to a mixture of 50:1 you will actually detect a difference. A front sprocket with more teeth will improve acceleration, nonetheless the top end speed will be reduced. A larger rear sprocket will develop a higher top speed but acceleration will suffer. The brake cable may be tensioned using the adjustment screw found on the brake lever. Unscrew the locking nut, twist the screw to reach the desired tension. Re screw the locking nut.

This is a two person job. Adjust the screw on the hand brake so that is at the end of it is travel. Undo the clamp that holds the brake cable on the lever located on the brake calliper. Ok, not great

My son was not interested in this rattle. It looks nice, but it’s not very easily manipulated. It’s also bigger than I expected. My son prefers skinnier rattles with things that move (addition rings etc.) attached to them, so this one was rather boring for him. He puts it down after only a few seconds without another glance. Not that amusing

No complaints against the product but from the second I got it my daughter was not at all amused with this thing. Honestly, neither was I. I wouldn’t classify it as a rattle and it doesn’t sound very loud which could by one reason why it didn’t hold my daughters attention.

My son really likes this toy – it has bright colors and rattles and it’s textured. One thing I was a little disappointed about was that it doesn’t twist/rotate like the very similar figure eight-shaped toy. But that’s fine–my son still likes this one.

Adorable

I bought this piggy bank for my niece for her first birthday. Absolutely adorable. The pictures don’t do this pig justice. It also comes in an adorable box–pink with black polka dots. No wrapping necessary–unless, of course, the receiver likes to unwrap presents. We’re going to take the piggy bank to one of our local stores and have her name painted on the rear of the pig. This piggy bank will definitely be one she’ll cherish as she grows.

The prettiest bank ever!

This is a very beautiful, feminine, girly bank. When I received it I was actually surprised by the size of it as it is quite a large bank. The details are beautiful (the painted features, the pink tulle tutu, the fabric flower, etc.) and really make the bank. Mud Pie makes other banks, but I liked this one the best. I bought it for my infant daughter and I put our loose change in it. She’ll have this bank forever, I’m sure. I highly recommend this bank, it is so much more beautiful in person, the pictures don’t do it justice. Don’t look any further for a bank for your little princess. It is a perfect addition to a little girl’s room.

Beware of size!!

I bought the original sierra 12 X 12 and the canopy square footage was 100 sq ft. (10 x 10) The new sierra II 12 X 12 canopy is only 9 X 9 (81 sq Ft.).
Ez up is selling the “same product” which covers less area now for the same price as the old one. Believe me when I say that the extra foot
(19 sq ft) make a difference!
The 12 X 12 is measured at the base of the slanted legs and the new model legs slant a lot more

Great Canopy!

It took a little while to figure out how to set this up…my husband didn’t want to help, because it was 90 degrees outside. Anyway, with a little effort, I figured it out – I was able to pretty much do it on my own, but it would have been a lot easier with someone to help me. Once you have it figured out, it’s a piece of cake after that. Also easy to take down, and goes back in the bag nicely – and the bag has wheels, which is great, because this thing is heavy!

not a real kettlebell

I’ll say this for these bells- they did get me started. Not a good design, though- the concrete core grinds down with use, and then you have shifting weight inside the bell along with a lot of distracting noise, and then the sand starts seeping out of the seams. There is a warning on the package not to drop the bells. I never dropped this bell, and still it started wearing out within a few weeks of daily use. Also, they are really big for their weight, so they encourage bad technique. Save yourself some trouble and get a kettlebell with an iron core.

Should be ZERO stars

These are not real kettlebells and will NOT give you any idea of what kbell training is about. I went through many types of “economical” kbells, and the old adage is true: you get what you pay for. These plastic-and-concrete pieces of nonsense will not give you the results you’re looking for.

These fake imitations are about like buying a Fisher-Price plastic kiddie car you push with your feet as the “economical alternative” to buying a Porsche. Not the same results.
