I purchased this product in hope that my children who are all under five would not be able to break it. It seems that the plastic is not strong enough to hold. They were able to break the cables on the first night I put the item to work. i was just trying to keep cabinets locked. so much for that. These are hard to use if you have them on a cabinet you open constantly. Both buttons have to be pressed to tighten or loosen.
